THE PONY I

In the classical German tradition of saddle making. the Pony I is our premier model for the junior accomplished rider. A versatile children and youth saddle with enhanced comfort, deep seat with narrow twist, styled for balance and correct fit. Many young riders proudly refer to the PONY I model as "A FUN SADDLE" to possess.

A great NEW FEATURE is the placement of the front billets They attach to the tree points in the front of the saddle. Under adverse fitting conditions, these front billets function as a foregirth. They allow for secure girthing to prevent slipping on round backed ponies, even during turns, or rough maneuvers. A reassuring feature in any event, especially in combination with the metal crupper loop attached to the back of the saddle.

While it is wise to know the price of quality. it is even more Important to realize its value. Our PONY I is a rare treasure, and has traditionally maintained a high trade-in value.

Our famous "Federbaum" spring tree is well known for its controlled flexibility and durability. The new seat padding and the soft seat leather create instant comfort for the bottoms of our young riders. Recessed rustproof safety stirrup bars eliminate the bulk of stirrup leathers and buckles. The modified PURE WOOL PANELS fit the exact contour of the pony's back after a short "breaking-in" period. Three pairs of extra-strong chrome billets add to the safety of this saddle. If you are concerned about the safety and well-being of your child, the PONY I fits the ticket. Soft leather padded knee inserts complement the comfort features of this truly unique saddle.
