The pre-shrunk waterproof "Schrumpfleder" leather on seat, jockeys and knee/thigh areas on the flaps provides a very grippy surface. It holds the rider firmly to the saddle. A very durable smooth leather in matching color is used in the contact areas of the boots.

The KURFURST is built on our " Federbaum" spring tree with narrow twist, low pommel and recessed safety stirrup bars. Available in a variety of tree widths to accommodate any breed. Three pairs of extra-strong chrome billets. The padded jockeys and foam padded flap inserts afford an extremely smooth transition from the soft seat to the flaps. Concealed tapered knee rolls for proper leg support.

Wool-flocked panels mold to the horse's back for excellent fit, proper weight distribution and back protection.
